It`s mad you saying that cus silicon is summimnk I've used in most, well prolly all my grows unless i ran out for a week or so, but it must be 10years + now and i never add it firstly, i know tis said on packet add first so tis prolly way to go. But i just add last always have. Yes fert mix clouds up and separates not mixing right when i add it, but as mentioned before when i add PH- it always brings ferts back to crystal clear and bang on. I do mix up 70 liters at a time though and add 5 to 7 ml of PH- at a guess to bring ph to bang on and also my ferts looking good. But "theirs more than one way to skin a cat" and whatever works for you, well jobs a good en mate. :oik!:

It just seems to foam up more adding the silicon last.
Happy so far with the Mill's. Comparing pic's from previous grows this one seems further ahead. I'll know for sure in about 5 weeks. Thanks mate

When you say foam up you mean like fairy washing up liquid in water or water goes a milky looking colour ? But yes your right adding last it goes a bit more milky what with the mix already being loaded with ferts where as before adding ferts its crystal clear till you add them and they still go milky, maybe not as much but hey tis what iot is and so long as ferts mix is crystal clear after you finished. Jobs a good en.

The French Macaron is now at 5 weeks.
It's drinking about 5 litres per day.
Stick the UVB in at some point this week.
The numbers are 1300ppm and 6.1ph.
