I fully understand your point @duke and completely agree. This was 1970s research I think I'm correct in saying. I just found the article interesting amd was blown away by the quantities being talked about.

Re: It won't kill a primate...
Maybe they should have given the monkeys the choice to see if they would openly take the whole 40 odd grams
I think they would be much better off using some human beings for this instead!
As for the monkeys, poor animals. Another step to fooking this world up some more, 28 Days Later and all that.

Unfortunately five minutes later I forgot what I was doing.

I agree. I felt sorry for the beagles.
Personally I feel they should have used people on death row. I would have less remorse.

That is a good view point man. But they wouldn't be aware whats happening would they?Chad.Westport wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:08 amdamn, thats just brutal for the animals.
But to the point, wow, cannabis is pretty damn safe from an overdose death standpoint. Definitely not a comfortable experience, but you'll live.
I remember someone mentioning a speciality coffee from some mountains somewhere. These wild mokeys would eat the coffee beans and then poop them, the ned product
Apparently when the beans would come low in stock and plants stopped producing the monkeys would get aggressive and grumpy from the caffiene withdrawal. Much like some people without a morning coffee

Re: It won't kill a primate...
stupid scientists as dogs have many more cannabinoid receptors than humans,
hence even a tiny amount of cannabis has a profound effect on dogs,i once accidently fed my mr fugly some left over curry that had the dregs from the pyrex bowl used to make cannabis oil so would be only small amount, maybe half a gram at most and hes a 34kg dog.he was clearly seeing things could not put one foot in front of the other without falling on his face and jumping at shadows clearly terrified,it was horrid tbh and made me a lot more cautious with the oil, imagine what them poor beagles went through
sad thing is they probably still repeat the same thing all these years later, the only recorded death in uk from cannabis was a fellow on a ship and a huge bale of cannabis tipped over and killed him!

Re: It won't kill a primate...
PMSL yeah I heard about that one too!
Although I am sure it wouldn't do the dogs mental health much good I am sure they still made a full recovery.
