That's from a 180 micron drum.
Under the scope you can see its mostly trichome stems and heads. That bit had more stems than heads but it was just an unlucky spot lol. The hash comes out great!

Re: First time using a dry sift screen
My bubble bags from largest holes to smallest are
220,160,120,73,25
I tend to dump everything into the 220 bag and make hash from the other bags.
160 tends to be a bit too much plant material for my liking and can be a bit green coloured hash.
120 has always been my favourite
73 and 25 get more polleny and nice too
I’d be happy with a 100-120 micron screen in mine I think
Bubble bags are good and everything but it takes ages, it’s messy, uses loads of ice, I have to do it in the garden where the neighbours can see.
This screening idea fits the bill much better for me

Re: First time using a dry sift screen
Bubble bags are great and the hash is super clean but yup they messy af I bought one of those bubblator machines when they first came out and that helped quite a bit as you don't have to feck about with a mixer. Before that I was buying food mixers from argos then they would burn out after a hash making session so I used to return them the next day as falty lol The five bag config is the best too. Some of the hash I've had from the finer bags has been so clean it's kind of transparent.Vador wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 10:30 amMy bubble bags from largest holes to smallest are

I can't smoke too much of the bubble hash either. Back in the day I was making a lot and always had a 5 gram ball of it on me but it started affecting my mental health after about 6 months of smoking the stuff daily. I started getting paranoid and thinking some weird shit so had to cut down on the bubble hash.

Re: First time using a dry sift screen
Yeah not a bad idea to lay off it if it’s playing with your mental health.
Had a run once that took on a mouldy smell and tasted awful, I guess it just didn’t dry out properly and must have had moisture trapped inside it or something, not sure but that ruined it for me, think that might have been the last batch I made
