I only ever did one scrog myself, more like a training net really if you go by the pro's!

What most of the experiences growers say is you fill 3/4 of the scrog while in veg, then flip but use the stretch to train up, over and under the nets to evenly fill the net. That way you completely fill it up.

Look's busy enough though, let's see some buddage

I reckon it would be worth you're effort.

Have you thought of stem piching? ......or super cropping to keep them down or is it too far into flower?

Is that the best course of action?
Yes do that, i myself always remove everything under net or screen and then if i am removing fan leaves from a leafy bitch I'll do that as well all at same time, usually 2 to 3 weeks into 12/12 but at 3 weeks if i can get in to do it is better done after stretch is over.

They will really stop growing or slow to a proper crawl around 3 weeks in but up till then will grow and stretch like mad, they just stop and concentrate energy building buds after that, same applies to rootage that stops or virtually stops growing compared to how it grows in veg. If ya remove shit loads before you go away that may slow them a wee bit as well, but not much, tbh when i do it around 2 weeks in they still go mad for a week. But if your going on hols when plants are about 3 weeks in they wont be that much bigger on return, it might be different though if your naffing off on hols at 2 weeks, you could come back and plants maybe 6 inch bigger or so strain dependent, but removing shit loads should slow them down a little as said.

I think I’ll scrog next time as well, I’m shocked at how these have grown compared to my last run. Either I’ve just got much better at growing without realising, my genetics are a lot better, or the AutoPots are just keeping the plants a lot happier. I’m going to say 29% better genetics, 70% autopots and 1% me being a better grower

I have a friend checking in on them in a day or 2 whilst I’m away and will probably send me a couple of progress pics.

But yes… I CANT WAIT FOR THE BUDDAGE!

I got 13.4ounces last time, super interested to see what yield I get.

Hmmm from research I’ve done (not experience may I clarify lol) up to about the end of week 3 or so you should be dead on to supercrop still, but ideally earlier.

It’s just the one strain is going nuts, it’s a bag seed I found in a batch of Black Farm Genetix ‘Banana Slammer’ grown by one of my friends Renegade (2scoops etc knows him). It was one of the nicest bits of flower I’ve ever smoked so decided to grow it out and see how it turns up. It’s been super vigorous, great structure, nice purpling of the stems in certain places etc.. really excited to see how it finishes.

I actually took a few clones of the different strains before I left and I’m going to attempt to root them out.

I did exactly that, I spent a couple of hours at them the night before I left and stripped absolutely everything under the net/any small side branches that had formed which weren’t at a fairly even canopy level or weren’t getting light/a hell of a lot of fan leaves.

When I was removing fan leaves I noticed loads of moisture pockets where leaves were wet where the airflow wasn’t getting to, so I’m glad I did. I tried to leave as many as I could within reason as I’ve read dukes posts about the importance of them, and also I think plants completely stripped with none look less ‘pretty’ lol.

So, anyways, I hope that slowed them down a wee bit. Tbh the only one I’m worried about is the banana slammer at the back right as it was stretching like crazy. I could almost tell the others were near done stretching due to how mailable the stems were at the top. Most of the others only had about 1cm which was soft/bendable if that makes sense, where as the banana slammer had a good 2 inches

I’m only away for a week dude so it should be ok!

Thanks for keeping up to date with my diary, really appreciate your inputs and taking everything onboard.

If anything the only other reason I’d add another net is just for support, will judge when I get home.

Currently sitting in Turkey having my 3rd coffee in a row and eating copious amounts of fruit. A lot of it is grown in the grounds of the hotel, they thought I was crazy asking so many questions about their fruit and vegetable patches

Here are some pictures from before I left and what I stripped.

Thanks dude, that’s what I used with my first grow but I couldn’t get a discreet carbon filter setup for it so I decided to retire it. I’m either going to repurpose the LEDs and fan etc into a small 60x60x140cm tent or else just try and grow a really small hot pepper strain inside it.

SuperGreenLab have a great community for microgrows. It’s what got me into growing!!

If using one support net you should really be adding around 10 - 14 days into 12/12 and if adding 2 support netrs you add one at flip time and other at 14 days into 12/12.
I actually took a few clones of the different strains before I left and I’m going to attempt to root them out.
As for those clones if you change water daily but not freezing cold water but not warm either summink in-between ,those cutts should be showing roots within a few weeks, just cover bottom few inches of the stem with water only. Would be better covering the glass so light doesn`t hit water too much although if changing daily their shouldn`t be time for algae to form on top. Tbh I've not made clones like this for a long while but yes it works ok all be it some might not. Best way i find cloning is just chop the stem and bung it in a pot of coco that's soaked with seaweed juice/water mix and then cover with a half a pop bottle that's been soaked/sprayed with water inside, they root in no time at all. :nice:
