Colloidal silver and CS reversal
Hey Growroom
I was cooking up some colloidal silver and thought I'd bring yall along for the ride
Kit list:
Purified or deionised water
2 x Silver 99.9% pure rods
3 x 9v batteries
2 × Crocodile clip and cable (test wires)
Tds meter
Glass jar
A piece of card
Setup:
Peirce 2 holes in the card for the silver rods to go through
Connect 9v batteries together
Clip rod onto wires
Pop some water in the glass jar and check ppm/ub before starting (below is ub)
Now just pop the rods through the holes in the cardboard making sure they don't touch the sides other each other (closer the better tho)
Then just clip on the batteries and wait
Won't take long before you see bubbles
Around 3-5 mins in a lil plume
Around 15 mins
And after 45 mins the colour has obviously changed and the terminal and different colours
Ppm 21
Ub 42
Decant (just a poundland travel spray bottle)
And protect from light (I wrapped the bottle in black electrical tape. You could just use and amber glass bottle)
It'll be a good while before I actually put this stuff to the test but will keep you all posted
Thanks for following along

Side note: ub/up work out to 1000th 1ec
1000ub =1.0ec on most cheap tds meters

I'm still yet try mine in all honestyWizardsbrew wrote:Do you think I could use this if it is diluted as its 500ppm . 25 buck a bottle?

I've heard 25ppm + will do the job but with cs it also depends on particle size and if the particles are too large ie made too quickly then a high ppm won't fix it
If ya got 25 bucks and a plant you wanna try it on, there is one sure fire way to know if it works
Keep us up dated tho mate

Re: Colloidal silver and CS reversal
excellent post GMO. Very clear and great pics. In the past mate ive seen this done with only one battery, any reason behind 3. Is it quicker or finer particles, whats the scoop?

From what I've read 3 is kinda the standard. Less will be smaller particles but any more will rush the process and potentially the particle would be too large
Other factors that may affect the particle size are light and temp. I'm not sure how they affect size but it's reason for natural variations even in off the shelf products
