Uh-oh, gramma police about, put the handcuffs on and take me away. The Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 1:33 amIt would be slightly funny if he'd spelt it correctly. Adults shouldn't be making such errors. In all of my 56 years, I've never misspelt you're. Also, it wasn't a case of not being fast. I was in bed with pleurisy, COPD and cancer.
Get off your high horse and give your head a shake.
Perhaps a few years ago I would not of made that mistake but living with a brain injury, struggling with severe pain and taking copious amounts of strong meds, struggle to converse with people in general and normally having my wife double check my posts before posting, a little bit of bad grammar is the least of my concern! If YOU ARE as poorly has you say, then a little bad grammar posted by someone you know fuck all about should be the least of your worries!
I never see you complain when people make spelling errors, or is that acceptable to you?
Anything else to say, YOU ARE more than welcome to private message me.

Re: 4th Birthday Growers Choice Giveaway
I find spelling correctly an important thing. It makes communication a lot easier, especially to someone who is autistic. When I was a mod, I would correct people's typing errors.Finchmad_79 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 10:40 pmUh-oh, gramma police about, put the handcuffs on and take me away. The Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 1:33 amIt would be slightly funny if he'd spelt it correctly. I too am taking copious amount of medication. Oramorph, Fentanyl, gabapentin and an injection that makes you foggy headed etc.
Personally, I blame mobile phones for the way people write these days. They depend on spell checkers and not their brain. I constantly see the same typo (your instead of you're) on the Daily Mail and other places where comments are made. Yes, I do correct them on there too, especially when someone replies to a comment and say "your an idiot". Oh, the irony.
As for your comment "If YOU ARE as poorly has you say, then a little bad grammar posted by someone you know fuck all about should be the least of your worries!" reminds me of when I saw my consultant at the hospital. I asked why I cannot be on both tablets. Her reply was "People prefer to take less tablets"... Two things annoyed me about that comment. 1: It's FEWER tablets, not less. 2: She never answered my question. As it turned out, a month or so later they put me on both tablets.
I am not going to argue about it here or via PM as I have more important things to do. Don't worry though, you won't have to put up with me for much longer. Maybe a year or two. Is that okay with you?
Never give advice. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.
