Used these a few years back but then went to hps. Thought I'd try my hand at these again. Maybe there just harder to get right.Vador wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 5:03 pmThey look nice.Benjic93 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 4:47 pmBest I've got at the minuteVador wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 4:40 pmAny photos?
What media are you growing in?
Some strains stretch more than others
22c is fine
After reading your post again I wonder if you just didn’t veg them long enough?
If your trying to fill a net you need to train them a bit and fill the net before flipping
They vegged for 2 months. They havnt really stretched much from the beginning. Only flipped so they could be done before Christmas. Wouldn't even say they've doubled in size yet.
Just a thought but have you grown with those lights before and have something to compare to?
It’s like the lights are underpowered and need turning up, like when you grow a mother plant you give them barely enough light to keep them growing slow but not too much light to encourage them to go mad and take over the tent.
That would explain the slow growth, I’d turn the lights up if it was me, 150w each light just sounds a bit low at this stage

Re: Stretching during flower
Those big wide leaves tells me that they both are very indica. Indica dominant strains don't tend to stretch. Don't lower the light, just let them do their thing.

Re: Stretching during flower
300w in a 3x3 should be ideal.
I use similar board's in 80 and 90cm tent's and I'd aim between 275/300w.
I use a lux meter to set the height.
65000 lux in flower and roughly 40000 in veg. I grow in bubblers so that might make a difference

Re: Stretching during flower
Maybe I need to get a LUX meter. Iknow you can download apps but I don't know how reliable they are? Plus the lights are way higher then suggested by invisusun themselvesTreetrunk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 7:10 pm300w in a 3x3 should be ideal.

Re: Stretching during flower
I use a Sealey lux meter so I can't tell you how accurate the apps are. I think my meter was about £40.Benjic93 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 7:33 pmMaybe I need to get a LUX meter. Re: Stretching during flower
I agree with ras. Download a lux meter on your phone and check the reading at canopy level and adjust lights accordingly. Also some strains just don't stretch much. Birthday cake by cannarado doesn't. I have to veg that for an extra 3-4 weeks for a full tent.
