Not sure whats going on here, Just refitting my room to raise the light. I'm reading 280k lux at 24 inches...
The rooms 3ft 2" by 6ft with light hung at 7ft.
Its drawing 311 watts at the wall. If this light is designed to be used at 18/24 inches, then either my phone is reading way off or the light is crap....
I wont be offended if it is, just a bit of a head scratchier.
According to my phone its 280k at 24", Max's out the sensor of 320k lux at 12" and at 4ft below the light its reading 80k the floor 44k.....
Light is Marshydro tsl2000

tryed a different phone...................
If not go with what the light manufacturer says for hanging high above canopy
too close and your bleach the plant done that a few times
you can use a lux meter for a rough guide
dont need more then 35000 lux tho bro

Re: Light issue's
Thanks. Another bonus, just found dimmers on the drivers ... Dimmer box on this light has a problem so ive been using tap to dim the light... Also found out an old Samsung phone that's 99% giving the same reading as the lux meter...
Right better get back to it.

Re: Light issue's
I've been trying to go off 65k lux 75k max, 35k lux means this light has alot more potential than what ive been getting out of it so far.
Nice little faff about.
