Re: First proper photoperiod grow!! SoG

Post by HaydenR4238 »

Did some light work to 6 out of 8. 2 at the front are still a bit small but might bend them over. Topped the 2 back row corner plants. Rest I just opened up a bit.

Just concerned if I veg for too long and they end up root bound in my 1gal. Was supposed to be on 12/12 by now originally. Could do without having to transplant them! Interested in peoples thought on vegging for another 2 weeks and flipping, will I be pushing the pots boundaries? Any help appreciated!!Image

Ok so I use the same 1 gallon pots and while they won’t go root bound they will dry out super fast I’ve had to do 2 waters a day on some. Just keep your eye out for that and should be easy going. Once my ladies where ready to go into bigger pots I literally dropped the 1 gallon pots into a 5 gallon was crazy after the grow pulling the pots apart my roots where crazy happy.

Nearly at the 4 week mark for these. Switched on the HPS last night so running 250w now. Going to give them another week and flip to flower. When they get a bit bigger will be using 400w. I might increase that to 600 in late flower. Just trying to conserve energy costs.

Happy enough with them, gave them first feed of Oldtimer last night too. Starting to look hungry! Image

Good afternoon evening all... what i would do....

But first you are doing an amazing job dude.... loooooooooooove it!!!!

What i would do is...

Install 2 lengths of timber either side of space length ways. Buy a box of screw hooks and add them ever 2 inches onto timber.

I would then spread the girls out onto 2 rows using all floor space.

Tower fan and carbon filter lifted off the ground and hung up high.

Buy 2inch green bean support netting and install that attaching to hooks on the timber.

Watering i would buy corrugated roofing roofing panel... diy store has them... 900mm width x 2m length.... drain table with gutter on one end.... collect into saucer etc. I made a large drain table for my 5x5.... saves sooooo much time honestly.

Yeah thats about it.

Happy growing :)
