Super excited about this one Keeno. You've done everything by the book so far and it shows how clean and healthy the grow is. Entirely under LED and some new technology should be interesting to see as you've always used a mix of other lights before. Fingers crossed it turns out nice for you mate

Keeno wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 1:51 amIn veg around 18-inch on these atm. The F-Bar you have are more powerful up close. The reason is the test light produces similar or more light but by running softer. Meaning the LED are running at 10% power, where as the F-Bar LED diodes may be running at 80% power. Them percentages are lliterall random numbers off my head but you get the point.Rixtar wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 12:48 pmHey @Keeno Looks amazing! So what height is it that you have settled at? I have my 240w FBar and its' Wee single FBar freind sitting at 16 Igches above the highest tops.... do you think they could be lower?Keeno wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 10:12 pmUpdate
I think we are about a week from the change to flower. The lights are certainly doing the business so far. I think I've found the sweet spot as in height now. Any closer and I start to see light stress, as mentioned before this shocked me given the wattage for the area. The plan is to tuck these again tomorrow, I think this will fill the net, if not another 5-7 days and it will be done. I know the strain so will be able to get the height perfect through the stretch period.
Feed is now at 1.25ml per liter of Canna A and B per liter. They have just finished a 3-day cal-mag load up which means I've added 0.5ml per liter of Plant Magic Mag-N-Cal to the feed and given them a good foliar feed with Epsom salts. PH is now set to 6.2 to aid the load up ready for flower. Plants are getting around 3-liters a day.

So the X-bars will need to be closer than the F-Bar in veg and more importantly flower. My custom 720w in the pictures is far higher than both the ISH530 and the test X-bars.
With yours once in flower I'd lower daily by just a inch. Look for signs of light burn or stress until you find the sweet spot.
Cheers @Keeno I shall give that a go!

Very nice jobby as is Keeno, lets hope they reward you to max, you see I'm not so sure about 1 and 2ft tops and lack of light down bottom what with shit loadsa tops, i suppose a good de-leafing done a few times in bloom would help their with that though hey. So i suppose you`ll be doing summink along those lines maybe ?

Cheers @duke. I think it's dialled in well for now. Winter may be another story but time will tell. I've not checked humidity yet as there's not much I can do except fire up the dehumidifiers and it was veg so no need. Feels dry up there tbh.duke wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 10:20 pmhi keeno it looks like the new groom is dialed in nicely and i look forward to the best bit, love it when they start pushing up the net you just know there happy and have strong stems to hold up all those lovely buds to come!keep up the good work and a great harvest is surely on the cards, peace

Chee4s @Ghost_In_A_Jar. Biggest difference is overall health. When I done HPS v LED this was also the case. I do think this is what made the difference in quality and yield on that grow and has a lot to do with light intensity. Getting the right amount if light but in the softest way possible which also would explain why the X Bar lights seem to be doing similar compared to the other lights in there. Nearly fluffy bits time so we will really see.Ghost_In_A_Jar wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 7:59 amLooking awesome so far bud. What’s the biggest difference you notice on the plants under the different lights so far?

Cheers @Bulls. It will be interesting, the last 2 grows were LED v HPS and the LED side was definitely the better of the 2. Strange not having a HPS in there lol.Bulls wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 8:55 amSuper excited about this one Keeno. Re: Most Efficient LED Grow Light On The Market? - Invisible Sun Featuring Critical
I'm definitely aiming for lots of smaller tops over fewer big chunky ones, I won't begrudge a few baseball bats in there lol, but I don't think this will be the case. I do defoliate pretty heavy but gradually. @Bulls technique of having nearly only the 2 top fan leaves on each top by late flower I use a lot. I leave a bit if a mat of leaves at net level so there's plenty of solar panels at the very bottom of each top.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Thu Sep 16, 2021 1:23 pmVery nice jobby as is Keeno, lets hope they reward you to max, you see I'm not so sure about 1 and 2ft tops and lack of light down bottom what with shit loadsa tops, i suppose a good de-leafing done a few times in bloom would help their with that though hey.
