this was the last bike i owned the one that got wiped out by a rogue 4x4,then rebuilt by myself whilst both arms still in casts as i could not bare seeing it all mashed up after about 4 yrs work, sold it about a year ago still in daily use it was tuned to perfection and massively lighter than standard fare, fast for a 550.

id have another bike tomorrow if she would let me but i value my balls!

Working on cars is something I know nothing about. My dad showed me how to change oil and brake pads as a kid, but I’m not sure how well he knew what he was doing either. It’s always cool/impressive to me to see people taking a cheap vehicle that needs work and turning it into something nice or just being able to work on their own vehicle.

hi all well good news for me for a nice change as the ancient volvo sailed through the mot today and even the bit i worried about the emissions test she passed first time  so justifying the work and expenditure over the last 18 months.
and now i have a real nice car to drive and all mot has cost was £50 so a bonus and the saving will be spent getting the air con regassed as the volvos are so well insulated they get very hot on sunny days and ac is a must if you dont like being cooked! :ak:
my first long journey it felt like my arse was melting!then found out it has electric heated seat and its stuck on full, one fuse removed, sorted that.
just need my tina to get over her fall and want to go out again now :bye:

hi all well my volvo has a leak in the new radiator :bang head: the one that took me an entire day to fit due to only having one good working hand, sods law im meant to be picking out the grandkids for the first time in ages, thankfully it has a 5 year guarantee and the seller is sending a replacement with no arguement as i took pics showing the fault but still a right pisser :ak:
and of course i have a very sore thumb still from hurting it trying to fit bloody tyres myself because our local tyre fitters refused and both my neck and back have severe arthritis so rolling around on the floor changing rads is the last thing i need, being out of weed sucks when shite gets bad  :fight:
Image bloody menace!
