Nice one Duke!

I miss my old 850 auto. Was bombproof.

My daily driver is a girls bike now.

:oik!:
Nice one Marcus. I'm after another V twin. I've always gone for them or big 2 strokes unfortunately the stroker's are getting expensive now.
Probably go for another KTM.
Here's a picture of my last one.

@Marcus nice bike mate. I always wanted an old vmax but never got round to it.
I do like them Vmax bikes. I may start a swear jar in the house, I'd have one by Christmas. :oik!:

Ooh nice, my last bike was a 1090 KTM. I do miss it but I don't miss looking at the speedo on the motorway and thinking "shit, I best go easy".

KTM have a great attitude. They don't give a toss.
Probably won't get anything till winter now. Always get a better deal.
Ride safe mate.

Definitely mate. At the time we used to mix 50/50 Avgas with 4 star.
A few guys used to run something called blue gas which was a 105 octane and cost a fortune.
It was illegal for road racing but still guys used it.
The bike had a flat sound when you run it. Octane keeps engine's running sweet and less chance of knocking or seizure.
Plane's won't be switching to E10

I'm pondering a 390 for popping to the shops on. (and for also making my eyeballs wobble on). I had a 401 Husky and that thing was nuts round the country lanes.

funny the ktm comet gp50s was my first ever moped,it had sat outside a house in brighton right next to the sea and was the rustiest thing you would ever see! the owner had broken his ankle kicking it over after rebore and the wrong piston rings fitted i got it for free pushed it a good 3-4 miles home sorted the rings for correct ones and had it running in a week, bloody dangerous though was all low end power and no speed restriction then a maybe optimistic speedo as it said 65mph once or twice, soon got nicked on it though
i do miss having a bike but since the crash im banned on pain of death :ak:

To be honest the 950 was total shit at touring. Went to France and all over Ireland on it. If you got a side wind it would wander all over the place on the motorway. Mrs Trunk loved that and the rock hard seat
Get the luggage and wife off and it was a total loony tool.
I think the 950/990 is about as big as you can handle off road.
Id love a Husky 550 V twin. Full engine rebuild every 450 miles. I can see me and the wife laughing endlessly at the amount of time I'm in the shed.

this was the last bike i owned the one that got wiped out by a rogue 4x4,then rebuilt by myself whilst both arms still in casts as i could not bare seeing it all mashed up after about 4 yrs work, sold it about a year ago still in daily use it was tuned to perfection and massively lighter than standard fare, fast for a 550.

id have another bike tomorrow if she would let me but i value my balls!

I drive a Prius Prime Advanced. Looking at the electric Volvo’s now though. Sweet renovation on that Volvo of yours!
