Do you have enough protons beaming down onto these plants? Maybe walk an HID in the middle just to make sure @Keeno ...?

I am going to try an A&B grow myself over the next year or so.

These are progressing through veg nicely. No real difference from the 2 x 150w F-Bars to the 720w custom jobby next to it. I've got a length of YBS super quilt I install between the lights so no cross-over, another week or 2 and I reckon it's flip o'clock. I'm tucking but the node spacing is the same on both sides.

The current feed is 1.25ml per liter, this is more than id is feeding under HPS. Start of cal def as expected around this time so they are getting a "load up" atm using 0.5ml per liter cal-mag in the feed and a foliar feed of Epsom salts. PH has been risen to 6.2 while I'm feeding cal mag for a couple of days.
Are these X-bars running at 150w per fixture instead of the ones for sale which are running at 240w per fixture?

Looks like a mad amount of light but with HPP id be running another 300w to cover that space.

The buddy does a similar job but not quite as good. Its a lower ratio pk than 13/14 so easy and not as otent to feed throughout flower. I start Canna PK 13/13 on day 1 flower - day 21 flower, then move over to rock resinator or buddy for the rest of flower.

Yes @IMO. This is purely a test light to see if it can be done. Im confident it will do more than ok by what im seeing so far, especially scrogged.

Update

I think we are about a week from the change to flower. The lights are certainly doing the business so far. I think I've found the sweet spot as in height now. Any closer and I start to see light stress, as mentioned before this shocked me given the wattage for the area. The plan is to tuck these again tomorrow, I think this will fill the net, if not another 5-7 days and it will be done. I know the strain so will be able to get the height perfect through the stretch period.

Feed is now at 1.25ml per liter of Canna A and B per liter. They have just finished a 3-day cal-mag load up which means I've added 0.5ml per liter of Plant Magic Mag-N-Cal to the feed and given them a good foliar feed with Epsom salts. PH is now set to 6.2 to aid the load up ready for flower. Plants are getting around 3-liters a day.

hi keeno re the distance from lights to foliage and my small painful experience when light was too close although i thought it ok,it takes several weeks for light bleaching to show and when it does that leaf is yellow toast or nearly pure white and near seethrough!
these leaves never recover and my 3 mid term growth type plants was reduced to a pile of crap and flowering was very sad
so it needs careful attention and very first sign of changing i lift it up a good few cms,my light is very much smaller as well and was 12=15 inches above a scrog and that was og kush, bleached to hell.
the tangerine dream takes the same light about 10 inches away :idn:
im sure you have it all in hand just something that buggered me up and is best avoided!peace :bye:

The ISH X-Bar currently is being sold at £499.00 per unit. Them units run at 240w per unit. I'm using a test unit that runs at 150w per unit.
