Re: When to water
I was always told to water at lights on so have stuck with it. Makes sense as the plants will be drinking more with the intensity and heat in my head. I run lights 10am to 10pm/10pm - 10am normally. 2 grooms lights on at different times so I'm feeding 1 grow at 10am and the other at 10pm.

Re: When to water
Was always told to water my garden at sunrise, I took that method into my tents and haven’t turned back since.

Re: When to water
i feel my plants go happier watering at morning but... in summer can also get some extra liquid or superficial splash about 6 pm, so they get refresh and also have some time to drain enough before sleep

Re: When to water
Have always watered in the evening so that the plants leaves have a chance to dry out before the sun/lights hits so they don’t burn. More important for outside plants in Texas heat but I do both inside and outside the same.

Re: When to water
I try to get it as close to lights on as possible so any run off is sorted easily and can’t be reabsorbed, also helps with humidity if your in flower trying to keep RH down

Re: When to water
I water as close to lights on as possible indoors but outdoors I just water when the pot feels light. I think plants drink more as the sun comes up or lights go on because they start photosynthesis again but the rain doesn't always drop at sunrise so outdoors gets it when I can be arsed really lol

Re: When to water
I water them when needed. There's no set pattern. If the pot is light and the leaves are starting to droop, then what's the point of waiting x amount of hours just because it's not the time you'd normally water them. I grow autos, so it probably differs to photoperiod plants.
