Re: Strawberry banana - lordy's lucky find
I bloody love this strain its one I've grown numerous times, I had a cutting I kept for donks and just grew it again and again. I recently grew the Double Strawberry Diesel Jones > Connoisseur Genetics, man it didn`t half remind me of this strain in every way.
Plants look great man.

Re: Strawberry banana - lordy's lucky find
Thanks dude, just reading the plants this time and feeding from the top. Only using the bottom feed pipe if I need to flush.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 8:11 pmI bloody love this strain its one I've grown numerous times, I had a cutting I kept for donks and just grew it again and again. Re: Strawberry banana - lordy's lucky find
Week 1 haircut. Bit cooler. Been feeding every other day or so. Maybe 2 days off sometime. Still testing by weight. Every 10 litres of water gets 7ml a and b and that's it. Start feeding vitalink buddy soon and I've just raised the lights from 25% to 40%

Re: Strawberry banana - lordy's lucky find
In the past everytime the plants looked a bit rubbish I bought a product to help them out. This is the 'moron' approach because you keep pouring 'more on' (not my quote).
One of the gr420 earlier podcasts with you and 'mo where you talked about going back to basics and using just a and b and a pk made me think I should strip it back and add what works slowly.
Last grow was just a&b, rhizo, Green planet massive and a pk.
This one I've added buddy. I think I might add a silica next grow see how i get on with it. But yeah, it's easy and everything is coming out looking great.
Oh also added orca (liquid myco) to this grow to fend off nasties. I love the in frequent watering with the hempies. I'm in the garden everyday but means it gives me more time to hang out with the plants rather than make a feed and water them.
I also added worm castings from my bin to this grow (10% ish to the nedium) and the medium was 60% coco, 30% vermiculite and perlite mix (50/50) and then the worm castings. Its working great retains moisture, aerated and the plants are just always a lush green.
Oh and the invisible sun light means I'm not so restricted by temps. Lights on at 3pm means I'm not in the grow super late which means way more time in there.
You watch, bet I've jinxed myself now and they'll be all dead this afternoon.

Re: Strawberry banana - lordy's lucky find
Oh and the hottest temps recorded in this lovely valley of mine... didnt phase them at all. I put this down to the invisible sun (taking more heat with leds is a thing right? Sure I heard it somewhere) they've stayed pert and happy like a teenagers winky.
