And @GMO sorry if sounded Arsey as should of proved more info, I’m running 59dli without co2 as light 12inch ppfd is around 966 btw only because I have autos as got to be on 17 hour. The temps are 87f - 54rh witch is almost ideal vpd as it’s around 1.31.
Ive base my first grow log on vpd and dli only

this is the data all the write ups are being made from. take a look at the raw numbers and let me know ya thoughts dude
imho the range people are being told to aim for is 30% above what is possible without all the other factors in line. no offence taken ever dude, i hope ya dont feel im picking on you either. its just alot of hear say when the raw data is available

But you're running autos. Your DLI will be higher as your light is on longer. If you were running photos and had a DLI of 59 over 12 hours of light you'd get problems.ncrypta.core wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 8:05 pm

Yes your are right , this is why you’d need to have co2 supplementing you room as that’s like 1400 umol/s/m2. Isn’t it like 1200-1500ppm but not 100% sure how much is needInvisible Sun wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 9:02 pmBut you're running autos. Your DLI will be higher as your light is on longer. im not sure if you could supply enough co2 to supplement a DLI of 59 in a 12 hour cycle, youd be looking at a starting figure of around 1500 ppfd it's a big ask. Re: PPF, PPFD, YPF, DLI - A guide from Invisible Sun led
I presume you have to buy loads of co2 tanks, I got that co2 figure for a floraflex guide. But I wouldn’t want to run as think it’s to expensive for me. The max I could get 12/12 is 48dli as have could have extra 2 hours as of the fr8. So 14/10.Invisible Sun wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 9:40 pmim not sure if you could supply enough co2 to supplement a DLI of 59 in a 12 hour cycle, youd be looking at a starting figure of around 1500 ppfd it's a big ask. The 59dli is just an experiment, I wanted to see what would happen, the same thing with my ec at as running it at 2.7-3.0, found a canna farm location in the Cali hills you see , took me awhile to find it as (it’s for sale) so decided to usethere outside dli for June. In august there dli is 44.
Try to replicate it being outside. If I mess up my crop by doing to higher dli so be it, don’t want it to happen but isn’t that the fun bit of learning but so far so good. Last 2-3 week going change it too there Oct dli to see what happens. Which is 23 or 19 something like that.
But I agree less is prob best but unless you try it you don’t know for me the best why for me to learn, my next auto run I’m planning on hitting 40 to see what the difference is with the Quality.
