Feeding Autoflowers
Hi all,
Just looking for some general advice on feeding for autos.
I've been sticking with the feed charts, but I always get the yellow tips to the leaves. Is there a rule of thumb to follow when feeding autos?
Kinda seems like the feed charts just have too much and swamp the plants a bit.

Re: Feeding Autoflowers
No chart is exact and all will react different. I find kt best to let the plant say when to feed. How far along are you? Can you post photos?

Re: Feeding Autoflowers
The feed charts from most fert makers ive found to be total doo-dah. I never go over 2.5ml of A&B which is just first 3 or 4 weeks of 12/12 before dropping back to 2ml for rest of grow, yet i know fert makers and bottle prolly advises as much as 4ml per liter at times, its just not called for @Gupz That`s with me growing in coco with synthertic ferts mate by the way.

Re: Feeding Autoflowers
Agree with @2-Scoops , the Shogun feed chart is fucking hardcore lol, we tend to feed off the lower end of the chart but i dont think we ever go over 3ml/pl and tends to be 2ml/pl on a and b.

Re: Feeding Autoflowers
Whats the A&B thing? (apologies for being a noob with that question) I use Biobizz nutrients and add some guano....put it in a big bucket and bubble air through it for a few hours before checking the PH and feeding.
I only ever feed once a week and always water with clean water in between, if it's needed.
I've probably just been overfeeding them. Pics to follow...

Re: Feeding Autoflowers
Do you think that's because of different conditions that they grow in?
If it is, its a bit annoying that it isn't adjusted for the general home grower before being sent out as a guide to follow.
Could be worse I guess.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Feeding Autoflowers
Im not sure tbh, i could say its because they sell nutes lol but perhaps thats a little mean.
I guess in a lab with higher than normal heat, added c02 etc they may like a heavier feed but if we have ever fed to the chart its over nuted our plants for sure, so we stay on the low side and if they need more of something they will tell us.
