Seedling discolouration
Hey everyone im looking for help my white widow auto is starting to go really white and discoloured. At first I thought it was because I was misting it so I stopped doing that but it got a lot worse since I stopped. Maybe the lights to low and giving it sunburn or maybe its windburn?? I usually do seedlings at this light hight. This is my 3rd ever grow so I'm really unexperienced so any advice is highly appreciated. I posted a pic of my setup as well as a few leaf pics.
Also It looks like the new leafs are growing in discoloured too
Another day to grow

Re: Seedling discolouration
Can you take the plant out of the purple light and take a photo? It will help tremendously

Re: Seedling discolouration
what time were you misting I mean where the light on at the time? did any of your nutrient water been hitting the leaves as could be leaf bleaching.
Where the salts go, the water will follow

Re: Seedling discolouration
It got worse overnight I will post the lights off pics for you all to have a look at
Lights are 18/6
Soil is biobizz all mix so i dont need to add nutrition until around week 4
The water is just plain tap water (im from Scotland so it's good stuff)
When I was misting it it was also just regular tap water. Usually in the morning and i blew or tapped the leafs so there was no big droplets
My first white widow xxl hermied so fingers crossed we can turn this around

Re: Seedling discolouration
I gave it a Google and it looks like you may be right. There isn't much info about it on cannabis though. Will my plant hopefully grow out of it?Chad.Westport wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 3:10 amThis is called verigation. Fairly common in the early part of seeds, but nothing I would be overly concerned with.
Am I right on thinking it won't be photosynthesis in gas well as it would with normal leafs? Don't worry I don't discriminate against its colour I still love it equally
