Morning all,
Im in need of some help...
I have a room with 3 grow spaces in:
1. 50 x 50 x 100 cm tent
2. Large 3 door wardrobe
3. Small 2 door wardrobe
The temperature in the room is starting to creep up and i need a way of cooling it down ready for when summer temps hit, preferably without AC.
In the last few days outdoor temperatures have been approx 20 degree celsius but the temp in my room crept up to 26c yesterday with similar temps in each grow space.
The room itself is approx 2.5m x 1.5m.
The equipment running in the room (all grow spaces) is as follows:
1 air pump
1 hailea hc500 chiller
1 mars hydro sp150
1 spider farmer sf1000
1 Invisible Sun ISH265
An idea I have had, but am not sure if it would work, is to open the window and fit an exhaust fan to vent through the airbrick to push warm air outside and keep the door shut, im only looking to pull the temp down by a few degrees nothing crazy.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
GNF

Re: Cooling Lung Room
Where are you venting the tents to? Just into the room? Ideally you want to extract that hot air to a roof space or direct outside if you can
From the Garage of HMR
No Current Grow on, Point5 has the tent and is doing her lovely thing.

Re: Cooling Lung Room
yea straight into the room, I cant vent into the roof space as their is no direct access (loft hatch is really far away from where the tents are)
And I only have a single outlet (airbrick) and i dont really want ducting hanging out my window lol

Re: Cooling Lung Room
Yea I get ya. It needs extracting out of the room so if yiu can get the extraction feed to the air brick that sounds like the best you are going to be able to do.
I'm thinking about doing a wardrobe grow in our bedroom and was going to drill a hole in the ceiling and vent to that.
