Humic and Fulvic acid Power House!

Post by ShapingFireuk »

When i started using those two imputs together with micronutrients a specially my garden totally changed and exploded with another world of opportunities so i thought i would try and get as many people as possible researching this gold nugget here is some basic info :Stoned: :

"Humic acid is a group of molecules that bind to, and help plant roots receive, water and nutrients. High humic acid levels can dramatically increase yields. Humic acid deficiency can prevent farmers and gardeners from growing crops with optimum nutrition. Conventional wisdom today ignores humic acids, though, holding that it is impossible to grow and maintain an urban landscape such as a park, golf course, or lawn without high-analysis NPK fertilizers

Here is the whole article to get you started:

Nice info and article man. never used the dr forest version tho, currently using the RAW version of HA and using green hands organic seabird guano which has fulvic acid in it.

Raw Humic Acid
https://www.npkraw.com/products/raw-humic-acid

Hers a quick tip:
Humic acids rapidly bind or neutralize both chlorine and chloramines in the water.
Humic acid can help quickly fix purple stems.

Where the salts go, the water will follow

I have used dr forest highly soluble version with 7 micronutrients every 2nd watering or so at quater of a tsp per 5l of water rate and it just put all the puzzles together!
Thats why i wanted to start this topic as i only have 6 month's experience with it and its blowing my mind haha! Also there is a video on it on Future cannabis project to watch its wicked!

Haha that’s the video I watched to get them tips,

this is my second organic grow and I’m loving experimenting especially with teas atm but sometimes think I’ve jumped in end but love it.

It’s a good topic to start to help everyone as in my eyes the more you know the wiser you are to be able to pass it on :)

Tbh mate if you're building your soil right there is no need for adding micronutrients twice. Everything added to that is available from a variety of rock dusts available around the £7-£8 per kilo mark. Tm7 is a bioag product for remediation of deficiencies. Humic will make all those nutrients available anyway. Lots of hype surrounding organics at the moment. Worth your while to read up on stuff before you buy it. A good quality humic should retail £50 a kg delivered tops. £90 a kilo for something you can put in your soil much cheaper is hefty money. I sell 100% soluble humic that's 93% concentration (other 7% is natural moisture content) for £45. That's 15% higher concentration for Humalite derived humic for half the money. I've also got a 75% soluble humic on its way that'll retail at £30 a kilo. All are certified organic. Fulvic should be around £50 a kilo too for decent quality of @70% again about to drop on the site. A granular humic about £20/kg.

A good way to look at this stuff is ignore the amount per litre and ask how much per hectare that'll tell you how good it is in comparison as will checking out the concentration and solubility percentages. Read up on those and you'll wonder where your money is going.
