These non-growing lights are bloody good.

Post by The Aspie Toker »

I got these from Home Bargains.
100w LED lights. (use 12w) and come as B22 or E27
They contain no Mercury and an ignition time of 1 second, so no more waiting around in the dark for your energy efficient bulbs to come on.

No more yellow lights for me. I wonder if they'll be any good for growing with.

Put 10 of them on a ring. If you know enough about electronics you could rig something up quite easily. 120W draw for 1000W of light. :idn:

I changed my security lights to LED recently and they are mad bright for very low wattage. I was looking at them as a possible light source for early clones or early veg.

Ready made grow light. Just pull defussers off bulbs. :barmy:
