we had ours done 2 weeks ago and they do go in every room, they prob just go in like i do at work and just focus on the job at hand mate, with rentals the landlord has the power to let them in, have you got a cough ??

Its not hard to blag them and put them on back burner till your grow is finished. Lots ive blagged that i was at sisters cus of poor health down south. But what with covid around i would think tis much easier to say your self isolating or whatever, summink like "no fucker is coming in my house mr council man till we`ve both had both jabs, we are in the at risk category and no way im a risking my Wife or my health for sake of a few more months wait till we`ve both had 2 jabs each" Seems it could be forward and theirs no way they can question that excuse what with times were in atmo@The Aspie Toker

Most Joe Bloggs work force i find are pretty cool when they`ve come across grow gear in house in past nothing has ever come of it, they`re not grassing fookers basically peeps like you or i 99.9% of them.

The thing is, the landlord texted the wife with a date and time of when they are coming. I doubt I can put it off due to ill health etc. because she lives next door. I might get the wife to ask them to wait till we've had our jabs. That might bide some time for us.

Honestly I feel that is just an invasion of privacy.
They shouldn't have the right to go snooping around in some ones house.
If you owned the house do they do inspections also or just the rentals?

Its law in the uk to have a gas check and an electrical safety test if you are renting a house or a flat..

Put it this way tommy im a spark and ive seen some real bad stuff...ive seen pvc conduit coming of the gas meter glued together with airfix glue instead of copper pipe.......lol

Yes for sure Aspie, man theirs nowt down for pulling a crop mid grow, i just refuse to do it myself. Generally i cross my fingers and pray to weed gods for guidance, seems to have worked up to now and ive been at it long enough mate so im sticking with that winning recipe so to say. Oh yes another boring story on my behalf here. So before i was slap happy just letting council worker guys in to do their jobs i used to use excuses as said usually at sisters in poor health recovering from an OP was my fave excuse and it always worked, so long story short i even had a letter from council threatening court action to get in cus i was winging it growing, anyhow it worked and i let them in after it had been grown out.

Oh you got me on one with this telling my stories lol, so here`s another. So past few years ive been getting a letter from council liason officer with an appointment ive not even made for them to come round for a chat for yearly bit of liason shit these guys do. Like fuck i was straight on phone, "so whats this about liason officer stuff coming round mine etc" he told me its a new thing and that we come round tell you whats going on in your area and any help with anything council stuff they can help with they will. i says, "listen mate if ive got a leak i phone council works depo and book an appointment myself to get it fixed, im a private person" "but this jobs it sure sounds like a made up jobby, bloody council spending my council tax on crap again, typical Labour i said its money for nowt i bet you love it and i chuckled " i then asked if these visits are compulsory, he says no i said "well your not coming round mine as said im private and can deal my own stuff up, it sure sounds a real nosey parkers job if i ever heard " . So yes every time i phone council for summink now they have me down as a private person, wtf just save all info you give these days, but yes its my house i pay rent so end of chat .

I`m sure ill be back with more boring council workers bugging us type chat-c/shit lol. In a bit Aspie

In my experience of these things most of the lads doing the testing will be stoned or wired anyways.
I worked in social care and they were always coming round to test something or other.
The usual sparkies van smelt like Snoop Dogg was calling
