Don't dwell on what you think may be a failure or what it could have been. That looks bloody good to me for a 2nd grow. I didn't get the quality like that on my 2nd.

Try try again and change one thing at a time and you will find your own way of growing that works for you, your routine and envroronment.

Strain does make a big difference.

Take the time to look around peoples diaries here, see what sort of things they are doing which could work for you.

Exactly this. Im on my 4th grow and only until the 3rd one I got myself a proper tent, environment control and it got better. My second grow was dire. Its a hobby that takes time and patience and can sometimes make you feel like giving up  once you've dialled in, then you're laughing.

The 600w light from Amazon, how much wattage does it actually draw at the wall?

Many things can contribute to this, individually or cumulatively, but the top reasons for airy buds would be -
not enough light intensity (PAR, PPFD, Umol;s),
too much nitrogen late in the flower cycle (promotes growth instead of girth),
and finally genetics. Some strains grow that way. But I have not grown your strain so I do not have a point of reference.

End of the day, you made it to harvest and you are holding a pretty nice looking bud. Congratulations, time to learn, regroup and go at it again :Stoned:
I asked this very same question. The answer that I got from the pros is exactly what Chad said. I blame it on not enough good light.
Those cheapy lights get the job done but invest in a good light and I think you would be happy. I'm STILL looking to get a good Invisible Sun LED light.

Purple Punch From Seedstockers
The other day when I was high I solved one of the world's greatest problems.
Unfortunately five minutes later I forgot what I was doing.

Thank everyone for your messages.
I think I will invest in a new light and tent.
Bit on the budget side but what does everyone think about the Fecida CR600 from Amazon.
Par value looks good.

Not had experience with that light.

What size tent are you in?

Guessing around 80x80iah from the light you posted. With the discount you can get on invisiblesunled you could get a ish100br for about 100 quid.

Chipset Samsung LM301B is bang on and good as any in that quantum led light field, but its not very powerful only pulling 120watts power from wall which isn`t gonna grow you.... lets say biggest buds. Maybe look for summink similar around 300watts power draw from wall. Ive seen some great grows with Phlizon Cree Cob led by a few growers. Your gonna get alot more bang for your buck running summink like this which is around 250wattage true power draw https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-Grow-Lig ... SwdAVfhXmv But running any Cree Cob or Samsung Quantum led type of light with a bigger power draw around 250watts is gonna do you a much better jobby all round.

Basically look at true power draw of light and not the 600 or 1000w those sneaky Chinese put at side of their lights trying to sell on. The conning fuckers, it`s really underhanded on their behalf is that one and summink that proper gets my goat cus peeps buying fall for it especially if they are clueless and new to growing. Cheeky Chinese conning fuckers..... i swear man they use decent parts and build decent spec lights going by numbers and parts used, so really their is no need to try and con peeps into buying your lights you lying bunch of shisters that you are. :ak:

Your buddage looks nice tbh, really frosty looking types, tis a really good effort mate

I had the exact same lights for my first grow and I also had airy buds! They are in my germ tent now:Image
My second grow was with invisiblesun ish265br and the buds were much denser, save up and get the best lights you can afford is my advice!
