Let there be light
Hi folks
As some of you will be aware, I've been playing with the idea of building a led
I've decided for a first attempt to build a quantum board led using "affordable" parts
I've gone for 15 × 1 foot bridgelux strips. These strips run around 0.7a at 240v and with 15 should be drawing 244w from the wall at full whack
The strips
300x30x12mm heat sink per strip
Apply thermal double sided adhesive tape
Remove tape backing
Apply strip
As these strips are 280mm, I was left with a nice 10mm each side of the strip light which was used to adhere to the frame
The milk bottle tops gave me 10mm spacer between each strip
Once all were stuck on, this is what it looks like
I'll be completing the wire over the next couple days. Keep your eyes peeled for updates
Let me know ya thoughts

We can get swept away by our thoughts,,or learn to step back and see them with clarity.
Easy to forget its a choice

Mad stuff GMO, i was saying to you about spread being a big thing for me with led lights. This looks very cool and could be done to any size. Can't wait to see it up and running.
