Will my seedlings be ok?
Hi everyone. I just want some advice on if my seedlings will be ok.
I germinated them and then planted them into small pots of coco with charge and a small amount of dynamyco and have been feeding 0.9ec (including 0.3 background Ec). They was then placed under a 250w hps with the light about 3.5 foot away. Most of the seedlings have stretched loads and are about 4-5 inches tall and some have started to get a few funny leaves.
Once I took them out of the propergator the humidity in the tent was very low (between 20-30%) so I got a humidifier and set it to 65%.
They seem to be growing very slowly. Could someone please help me ? Thanks

Re: Will my seedlings be ok?
Seedlings grow slowly to start with anyway. It's only once they have their solar panels that they start to grow faster. As for the stretch, could be that your lights too high or because it's HPS and there's not enough blue to prevent a stretch. As for will they be ok...

Probably 0.7 and see if it helps. I think pH should be between 5.5 and 6.2 no?

Re: Will my seedlings be ok?
I Normally don’t go under 5.7 or above 6.1. Do you have any idea on why the leaves are like that ? It doesn’t look like nute burn as it’s not on the tips of the leaves. I know I should of stock them under a hps right away but I thought at 250w and 3.5 foot of distance that it wouldn’t really affect the plants.

Re: Will my seedlings be ok?
Prob spat their dummy out from the change of environment. Few things i would do Garwd is to make sure they are warm 28c-30c if possible lower the EC to 0.6-0.7 as KD said. Also lower that light way to high that is why they are stretching do not just bang in down on top of them do it increments and feed them every other day. Watch the new growth for recovery as im sure they will except one that looks a little funky to me but see how it goes.

They will be fine and do as advised above mate. I'd also top up the pots with coco as I see you got more room..That would give some better stability on the stem. Get a small fan to blow gentle breeze over them that will harden them up as well. Liquid Silicone is something you can add to the feed twice a week now at 0.5 ml per L and that will help them.
