Blast from the past :) I had 4 of these and the central controller. Great systems! Some of the biggest indoor plants I've ever grown. I'd regularly pull 10+Oz off one plant.

Aye my original amnesia was a beast! The guy running the local cannabis club wanted to enter it into the Canarian Cannabis Cup but I said no. Didnt want the town knowing I was growing ffs. Would do now the attitudes have relaxed here though. I'm tempted to make my own version DFDWC

Yeah they are in a way. The airstone basically converts it from a top fed drip hempy system to a hempy DWC system. You dont water to waste like a hempy though

A better way to do it would be to make a DWC system with a water pump in it on a timer for 10 mins every hour feeding the seedling/clone, then once the roots hit the res, remove the water pump and you're away. I believe it'll give better growth in the early stages instead of having to wait for the roots to find the food or hand watering it. Could even link all the tubs and do RDWC this way too with one water pump in a brain bucket feeding the plants from start and just recurculating later on.

Actually this system grows as good as rdwc imo. You can modify them as well so basically a brummy bubbler and no need for a chiller.
These grow trees!

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.
