this is goals, this guys grows are insane. the size of that cut, i dunno how id get it into coco without damaging the roots is my fear for taking big massive cuts. gonna mess around see whats best if ur on IG give that guy page a peepone of my faves
the bigger the cutting, the better. You got nothing to worry about when it comes to transplanting

so might take 2-3 weeks before see some decent rootage, the leaves starting to slightly yellow which is what usualy happens when the roots are due, think they use the chlorofil in the leaves to feed off or something
not entirely a cut master just coppied others methods and seen whats worked.. snapped a branch off and put it in a pot of coco no hormones and plain water in 18/6 it started showing new growth within a few weeks, its hard to fuck them up if u give em decent enviros n keep them happy they show u love
gonna try jiffys, root riot, aero, and just planting in coco cuts taken on same day n see what is the least hassle.. n does it best.
one of my 200 experiments i plan to do this year

just been topping off the aero with water and adding some clonex each time.. once roots show gonna get some feed in there see if i can get them pretty big
then plant and 12/12 would be the end goal these are keepers for next year some be mothers some be trees some be tested for sog abilityi prefer trees but the wait is sometimes to much. end result is stunning...

remember heaths 72oz chiesel
i have this cut, also crossed it with sonics cut of agent orange by subcool TGA got a tree of that now its about waist height, cant wait til these are down and i can get them in... some insane genetics hopefully pull a few boss phenos, forum made genetics on THCt**lk old dirty kush (grizzly purple kush x odk)
orange chiesel (chiesel x agent o)
FXM (kalischnapple x chiesel)
and some holygrail kush that i couldnt even supercrop the branches are so thicc

Re: Gorilla Zkittles coco SCROG

still no roots been adding 10L per day of fresh cold water, keeps temps nice and as u can see its splashing out every hole
only added clonex. might get monkey root shoot and gasket off the leaks.. after this run see if it works quicker on a few diff methods. anything that u can do easier with less variables that go wrong.. eg pump breaking/blocking sprinklers blocking/breaking.. always a worry have spares but tbh root riot and jiffys just as good and maybe quicker.. not sure if its cos were taken week 5 of flower and have to reveg
or im impatient or doing something wrong. fail forward is the only way to learn hope ur all crushing, dont be scared to post pics in here of cuts or plants or anything i like a diary booming with loads of people all bouncing ideas about and helping each other.
once these next few pheno hunts are done i need to reduce my light usage gonna try some big massive trees with vert bulbs. rdwc with a cooler... or 60:40 coco/clay balls
not much difference - These users thanked the author sqydroshydros for the post (total 4):

Re: Gorilla Zkittles coco SCROG
Plants are looking excellent mate, as usual.
Looks like you're killing it with the coco.
i had the same problems with my diy aerocloner it pissed water all over the carpet, so i gave up with it. i think the genuine ones are pretty well sealed, but im too tight to buy one.
i used to take cuts a week into bloom before pistils show, and keep them in the aerocloner under a few 10w household cfls till the plants were finished, they had huge long roots and didnt grow much up top, so were perfect for getting into the system, with a good root mass.
i was gonna turn my sprayer frame upside down so it was spraying down instead of up , save getting wet floors. might be worth a try eh?
im jealous of your seeds/ciut collection, and it was good to see Heaths 70 odd ouncer again, He grew some awesome trees, for sure.

my floor waterproofed or it would be out and into cubes mate. i have some fridge gasket that im gonna line inside lid with should stop all leaking.. and im gonna let the roots get big add in some nutes and veg these as big as i can in this see if i can plant them at 1ft and topped
can see roots being sucked into pump tho need a foam filter asap..yh never paying 250 for a cloner, i remeber someone made one like a 20L bubbler 12 holes in lid and the bubble bursting popped little droplets onto the bottom of the stems and was quite succesfull. i have no need for such a big cloner so might try that next... cheers for the love mate take it easy

Re: Gorilla Zkittles coco SCROG
Absolutely lovely plants there man, fair play
I have no issues with my cloner. I think fresh cold water is a mistake. I find them rooting faster if leave the water as it is...It's slower now because of the cold water and because they are in flower. Mine never leaked
