Yeah man so many LED growers in here. I plan to switch to LED in summer.

I just have a standard reflector, a Lumii non parabolic. Parabolic is like an umbrella right? So if I put it too close to that its going to give me incorrect readings. I guess I'll look into parabolic reflectors as I've heard they're meant to be good.

yea an umbrella , very good at dispersing an even light spread , yea too close will give lamp readings , them lamps can get VERY HOT , 375 deg C i registered on my ray gun ,

In the canopy but it must be in shaded not directly in light or you will pick up radiant heat not the ambient temp of the room

I run hps and I keep the sensor the same as others at canopy crazy it’s 3c and with hps going it’s 18c in tent
