I would try to up your airflow through the tent if possible.

you need to run a wet/dry watering system with mud plants.
water them, then leave them. stick your finger down into the soil between the edge of the pot and the soil. if your finger comes out with soil attached, its still wet, if your finger comes out dry, its time to water them.

My first grow hasn't been too successful as of yet. I have received a lot of good advice from this forum so far. Bought some new equipment so hopefully I will have a better second attempt

Hopefully. I'm not exactly "green fingered" lol. I would probably struggle to grow stingy nettles. This new gear should be here next week. I was only using cheap lights from ebay so bought some Samsung invisible sun lights. So I hope with a new equipment setup I should do ok.

@exordium you will notice a difference with the new light.
I found a cheap lux meter make's it easier to get the light height just right.
I bought one for £25 and I'm not frying my plants now.
