@2-Scoops So do you think it would be worth adding to my Philips - MASTER GreenPower CDM 930 Elite Agro 315W?

Well i use uvb myself, but if your look around even on seed breeders sites, Dutch Passion comes to mind, but yes lots are promoting it`s use now for added sticky goodness towards the end of your grow, theirs a good few utube vids on it all too. Theirs a heck of a lot of growers use it and swear it does help with end result. I mean look at Invisible Sun those guys are jumping on band wagon as well and making uva strips, ok its said tis wrong uv to promote stickyness but hey tis what it , i mean im pretty sure theirs no led uv chip in uvb range yet hence why they use uva which pretty useless in itself for helping produce extra potency from what ive read and been told in past. Plants grown higher up in mountains its said produce more potent bud and its said again cus plant is all about protecting itself from higher uv count up their. Here`s some great reads not very long but yes take a butchers ill let you decide.

Look back in thread Bulls ive posted a link to what my next purchase is, but ive been using 2 x 13watter cfl uvb 10 or uvb 15 (iff they do 15) but whichever is strongest for desert reptiles just stuck in cheap clip on light holder thingi-mi-jigs mate.

I was always told uva does squat, uvb increases resin production and uvc kills spores lets say you suffer with powdery mildew, i know a guy who uses uvc in a shade thing with a handle and runs it over plants really quickly, how often i dont know, but its pretty frequently possibly daily i seem to remember vaguely

I ordered the omega 400w red spec and I've got a 600w dual spec.
I'm trying the 600 tonight and keep my eyes on temperature.
What height should I go for?
I'm using on clones 16 days from flip.

Around 15 to 18 inches mate, tbh i try to get away with 12to 15 inches in my bigger grow area when i grow in their and i just blast big oscilating fans on spreading the heat around the room more evenly from lighting. Just make sure you have your oscilating fan set rightly, basically blowing horizontally set just above canopy height, doing that will spread heat about room a bit better. Don`t be worried about cranking up the oscilating fans to do that either, so long as they are set so plants getting a little bit of fluttering/rustling on leafage your laughing, if its too much just raise fans a wee bit so plant gets a little breeze and not full whack tornado :)

@2-Scoops hey mate stuck the HPS in last night.
It ran at about 32c.
Definitely won't be able to use it in summer
I've got it at about 16 inch and plants are looking ok.

You could just get a decent fan blowing horizontally inbetween light and plant spreading heat around room more evenly and hopefully it will warm the whole rooms ambient temp up but lower the temps a wee bit in that area directly under your lighting which is where you taking temps from currently i presume. If you do that just put temp probe slightly under fans wind blast and you`ll know for sure if its working in no time at all. 8-)
