which % of h202 to use and is tap water okay for res

Why do some people use 11% and others use 35%, is it how much water your using I take it? If so would I need 35% for 5x40L totes?

Also I'm in scotland and have drinkable tap water at 35ppm, can I use it with ecothrive dechlorinator?

I use growth tech liquid oxygen. Think its like 12% or something off the top of my head - never tried the higher one, it works perfectly. The difference I assume is higher % you use half as much.
Regarding water I wouldnt bother treating it, you dont need to.

As Nook says, you dont need it,

it will simply evaporate to the air, any oxygenation in it, from the airstones anyway, so its a waste of time in dwc.
Its only useful for cleaning systems at the end of a grow.

I've been dechlorinating tap water for every feed with soil plant using bottles organics reckon that was a waste of time then lol

I dont check ec or anything tbh, I did the first res change and just went with 3.5ml ph down a tank change.
