Xbox One X or Xbox One S?
I'm not talking about the XBox One Series X and S. I'm on about the XBox One X and S.
If you had to buy one, which one would you go for? I recently purchased an XBox One S but it was stolen, so I now have to get another, but second hand. Would you go for the X or the S?
Thank you.

Re: Xbox One X or Xbox One S?
The X box one x has a better graphics card I trhink and is more geared towards an in sane gaming experience where as the s is for more of a casual user or for home entertainment values/use. The X has the faster CPU too.

Re: Xbox One X or Xbox One S?
Thanks, mate. I may go for the X version as I cannot afford another new S version.

I've no idea, mate. I think the X is better than the S (Not talking about the new Series X and S) - You would have thought that they could have named the mew lot better. XBOX 2 or something.
The S that I bought was new (£249.99) but I can get an XBox One X for around £150 - depending on the auction.
AFIAK, The XBox One X doesn't come as a digital download only - something I do not want as I wish to play my older games.

Re: Xbox One X or Xbox One S?
I've been looking into that, but although my Sky hub has wifi, my PC does not. I don't think I can even install a wifi card for my PC.

Re: Xbox One X or Xbox One S?
I know my eyes are shit, but I can't see a slot on the motherboard for a wifi card. I became a Luddite around 20 years ago and this technology is lost on me. I've never been a fan of wifi and prefer ethernet. I feel more secure that way.DIY.Rik wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:49 amYou can get WiFi USB receievers now I think, our Xbox 360 uses one so presume PC would. The Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 10:54 pmI've been looking into that, but although my Sky hub has wifi, my PC does not.
