600w Dual Spectrum - any recommendations?

Hey there

I've been using Omega 250w / 400w dual spectrum bulbs and they seem to be good. Thinking of getting a 600w, but as I haven't used any other brands, I thought I'd find out what you guys and gals use and is there any noticeable difference between any brands?

i run a sunmaster 600 its 5 years old never had any issues,can be dimmed to 400/250 watts...can crank it to 660 but i never done that .....in fact im gonna buy another 1 soon + ditch my led`s

5 years? I thought they only last a few grow cycles, that's what one grow shop told me. Presumably you are growing more than once a year :)

I'll check them out. The Omega 250w still gave me dense buds even in shite conditions..so I guess they must still be pretty decent. Cheers for your input Captain

I used to run Sunmaster on my adjustable digi ballast but i switched to Omega a few years ago cus every time i used super lumens on the ballast the Sunmaster never seemed to last long, the Omega though are bang on and last much longer not only that all numbers on their site for bulbs seem to hit right spot good style.

If your wanting real top draw hps bulbs i here Osram is the one, ive never used them cus im a tight git and they cost a fortune and im well pleased with Osram for the price and long lasting ability :) .

Perfect. I just ordered my Omega one. I've used a couple of their others and had no issues so I thought stick to the same. My ballast is Omega too. Cheers

Also me too when I saw the price of the Osram, I said to myself "Nahh, this shit still guna work" and sold the Omega to myself. Boom!

The lamps are probably all made in the same factory over in that there China, so will be much of a muchness.

I've only ever used sunmaster bulbs, £15 a pop. They work.

aye bach a bulbs a bulb mun the plant dont care for the make see imho if the bulb fires it will grow dope....i dont do rate the bulb shit,in my book if the fuka shines it will do the job,we do sometimes get the Friday afternoon bulbs though that dont fire ennit. 1 day i`ll try to bump start the colider.
