We all one big family. Toes will get trod on from time to time. Everyone's entitled to opinions on every side of an argument. As long as we all act in a appropriate and respectful manner then there is always room for debate on subjects.
Except anyone claiming to be a more handsome grower than me. They can be quietly deleted.... Just saying 😊

Why do people seem to think unsolicited advice is cool online? Do you folks just constantly walk up to people in public and let them know how they can run their shop better or how to dress more efficiently? I doubt it, because the person would tell you to piss off. It’s really simple to just not say anything or not participate in things you don’t agree with or think are flawed. It clearly states in the initial post that if it goes to the cards it rolls over and Keeno rolls the prize over, which is cool. He did this because he knows boxing and the betting odds. Also, is a first round knockout unlikely? Yep, but that just means the last few people to get spots are in unlikely positions. Being early is an advantage. But, who cares anyway, because nothing pleases people online and there’ll always be something to bitch about. Ha.
You need to learn what the word, forum, means.

a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.
Worth sharing the idea, I thought it was a good suggestion for all its worth.

The argument that the first players would pick the option with better odds comes with the nature of comps.. As the last ones always get what's left over..

I would prefer that to rolling over.. If statistically fights are likely to last til the end then it is also likely that will continue to roll over?

I also think that @TTL response was not appropriate for this kind of forum, this is an open forum if you don't like it start your own where you can ignore everyone else's opinion.

I agree, mate, but some of the replies in here have not been respectful IMO.
Just misunderstanding i believe. Rules were in the first post as always. Im normally a lot more in my game with my comps finishing so ill take part of the blame. Lifes been a bit hectic the last 2 weeks. Comps will always follow the rules stated unless the person hosting wishes to make an exception, by exception i mean allow a late entry or add mote places etc. Its just 1 of hundreds of competitions this year so no harm it rolling over.

I agree, that's its statistically more likely to roll over but imo its better to have everyone on a fair chance than the first person on a majority chance. Plus the roll overs end up with bigger prizes.

Me too. I would prefer to see two people win 3 seeds than one person win 6. It's not down to us though, it was just a suggestion.

Never give advice. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.

Ill always take on suggestions Aspie. Truth is this isnt a regular comp, just a added one. Might best if we shelve the big fights nights from now on.
Idea always welcome mate. I like yo think we are far more liberal than most places in that regard.
I do understand that the rules are already set from previous boxing competitions. @Keeno I'll reiterate that I do love here, However I must say that @The Aspie Toker idea of adding a points and draw to the results is excellent as there would be no rollovers. And most times you pick what's left not what you want.
I say this with the utmost respect as my sincere opinion and I think fair without trying to seem like I'm imposing on anyone. Just my opinion. Peace

The future is brighter when we stand together...

There's no need to shelve it. It's your comp, your rules. I simply made a suggestion. I've never placed a bet before, but I am sure that a points win is an option in a fight.
