I encourage everyone to run tests for themselves still maybe a certain brand of nutrients left unflushed isn't as noticeable as othersSmelierjoint wrote:I watched a migro vid on YouTube, it was quite interesting. They done a few studies on this but the one's that stuck out for me was taste and ofcourse Ash / burn.
The results was quite surprising. I personally will flush. But will try with different times of starting to see if there's any difference in my preferences on the smoke test. When that time comes.
Big ups josh mate well done man I agree
It's normally down to people not finishing the plants shots firedThe Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 10:18 pmMy first grow was in coir and I didn't even know you were supposed to flush. It was a lovely smooth smoke.
It could be down to strain, nutrients used etc. as to why there are conflicting reports.
Have you tried them both though? Flushed and not flushed?seymore_budz wrote:#teamnoflush right here I wish I could share some with you all. GR420 blind smoke test.
They might get chopped early sometimes but at least mine turn out femaleseymore_budz wrote:It's normally down to people not finishing the plants shots firedThe Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 10:18 pmMy first grow was in coir and I didn't even know you were supposed to flush. Of course buddy. I was a flusher for years but then I went to Belgium and saw a big commercial operation and got speaking to the growers there and they turned me onto the idea of not flushing. I've tinkered with a few things and I find if you run a high EC made with N then you can get some horrible tasting weed but that's not because you have salt in the material but more the fact the plant is still growing and probably hasn't ripened even. The last few grows I've gone back to ripen. That's a 0-6-5 full fat single part nutrient that I run for 10 days before pulling them up. Dropping the N seems to ripen them up nicely without showing them down and the result is some heavy ass nugs of skunk weed.Josh wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:08 pmHave you tried them both though? By that I mean have you taken 2 plants, same cut and all that jazz, and flushed one but not the other?
