They could be any old seeds sold off as a certain strain though. Plus when you add in all the pheno variations from a single mother.... You dunno what you're getting with seeds.



I say if you need a standardised same plant over and over for medical purposes (for example) then go clones.

If you want to grow your own, then seeds. Its more fun not knowing what the end product will be.

@Chad.Westport lol you would clone and seed very much are different especially in time wise. Two weeks speed up time is always great less time you gots to wait :)

Seeds for variety? Clones for uniformity?

I'm leery of clones after hearing stories about whole rooms becoming infested after. You never know what kinda ppm another grower uses.

If had the space I'd be more open to considering out of my grow clones. I have made a few own clones But for space reasons personally prefer making my own seeds feminized or regs. Bonus being i can move on to other strains then pull the beans from storage and pick the line up again.

Well overall it's a hard choice in one hand you have a new seed and another you have a clone you made yourself if planning both in same medium the seed may or may not catch up (time wise) yet if you have the seed in hydro and the clone in dirt you may get faster or bigger yields it's also easier to get different several seeds allot easier than different clones all at once .. so overall it's what u want to start off with start time wise I think and what's more ready available to you at the time

Well true plants can talk to each other someone in this forum was talking about it cant remeber who it was. But what if it's the seed and a clone from a mother of the same kind of seed strain wise ? If anyone have a choise between a seed of a strain or a clone of the same strain just depends what the grower prefers which I think it comes down to or the timing they have with there other grows
