Just found thrips halfway through flower

Fuck sake. I've plastered the tent with blue traps and started to water from the bottom to keep the top couple inches of soil dry. Anything else free I can do to help my chances?

With thrips no need to dry the top layer of soil they do not lay eggs in the soil but actually in the soft tissue of the plant.

Try some pyrethrins smoke bombs. They may knock em back enough to see the rest of the crop out.

I'd heard that letting the top couple inches of soil dry out helps kill them as a couple stages of their life cycle is below the soil. I might be confusing them with something else

They over winter in soil but that will not be a issue when indoor growing if temps are right. They feed on plant sap hence the scaring on the soft tissue. A pyrethrin spray should see you good just follow the instructions and always read the label.

thrips are a fuka to rid in flower,they stick to the ripening buds and die within the resin.......alls not lost they will add flavor to the dope,sticky traps and bud bombs ftwf good luck.
