Just thought I’d kick of an angling thread as I’m sure there’s a few of us about..I’m a carp angler that fishes most sundays to wednesdays ..I fish 2 syndicates one nene valley and one in the Cotswolds ..my uk Pb is 46 mirror 42 common ...when I figure out pics I’ll get them up

Oioi another Carper!!!

Happy days sadface, there are more than a few of us here that love some carp. I never fished as a kid, my brothers did. One weekend many moons ago i got a call as one of them was changing his gas on stove.....inside his bivvy, blow himself up, minor injuries thank fuck, but thus left a swim free so i was off to my first lake. The first nigh was the worst storm ive ever seen. raly hours my alarm screams off, my first ever carp! only a baby, 5lb common but from that moment i was hooked.

ive fished a few lakes but stuck with one mostly as i wanted tht 1 30 inthere. but time for a change, i was a campaign on something totally different, ive had a ticket for wierwood res but not used due to health, i plan to hit that in the winter for a few year campaing. 280 acres of pretty much unknown stock. will be lke nothing i every done but the social side gets on my nerves of late, just me, some grub and a huge lake to sit and stare at, fish or 2 wouldn't hurt

Nice fish dude some real stunner there.. as said there is a fair few of us, I like carp and like and now and then I get down the coast with my mate for a night for something different.
I'm sure one day there may be a trip planned for a few of us
