TH Seeds in Da Tent

Post by Cave Hill Cole »

Greetings everyone,

So I just finished up a dairy (A tent full of Bodhi), which was predominantly all Bodhi strains. I had never done a grow dairy before. I enjoyed the process, I found it held me accountable and kept me more disciplined with my growing decisions. So anyway, I thought I would do another one. This is going to predominantly a TH Seed Strains grow. I am a big fan of the breeder Adam Dunn. I like his work and jive with his tastes. So this grow is going to be the following strains:

- S.A.G.E (By TH Seeds) https://www.allbud.com/marijuana-strains/hybrid/sage
- Roof 95 (By TH Seeds) https://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Roof_95/TH_Seeds/
- Sage N Sour (By TH Seeds) https://www.allbud.com/marijuana-strain ... e-and-sour
- Killer Queen (By Brothers Grimm) https://www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/killer-queen/

The ladies went into the tent yesterday (8/10/2020). The Killer Queen had been vegining for abut 2 and half months, and she was not enjoying the lighter veg feed. She's looking a bit yellow and under fed. But after a single day on the richer flower feed she's looking happier.

The Sage and the Sage N Sour have both been "mainlined". This is my first time utilizing this technique. Its been interesting, the mainline cut puts them back about week to 10 days. But after that, they bounce back hardier. They are both a little to far away from the light, they will both stretch. But tomorrow, I am going to lift them up on bolsters, to get them closer to the light.

The little 95 Afi is in her "hempy bucket" and...she loves it. Her structure is super squat and short, so the hempy bucket is really good for her, because hempys are super mobile. They are a really cool growing method, I'm interested to see what results they produce in this grow.

Cheers Minty! Yeah man the atlas plant trainers are a super cool bit of kit man. They are full adjustable and moveable, which is a nice luxury in a training system. I've set them up as an open frame, as the ladies grow I will adjust and the frame and add extra sections. For people like me who get frustrated with scrog nets...they are a godsend.

Its a Bummer..the creator of the Atlas plant trainer, Rob Smith, he actually passed away suddenly last week...which is a shame, I had just spoke to him a couple weeks ago and ordered another set... RIP Rob.

Nice selection. I have some Sage n Sour running right now, good smoke. The one strain I'd really love to get that TH Seeds put out years ago (out of stock now) is the Puna Budder. Adam D. has some pretty good selections.
Cheers Chad!

Yeah bro, I love Adam's gear...I really liked his MK Ultra and Sage. I have a bunch of his stuff in my seed library. I'm going to bust out some Bubblegum, M.O.B and Dark Star soon. yeah man I heard all about the Puna Brother. I actually heard an interview with the dude from Hawaii, who gave Adam the cut, it was really interesting.

You like the Sage N Sour? I heard a bunch of rumblings about it, so I wanted to give it a run. Its seems hard to get anything with true Sour D lineage. :Stoned:

You have some great genetics, solid lines. Bubblegum is another one of his strains I've always wanted to run. Was the episode about him getting the cut from Hawaii on the ADS podcast? I would love to listen to that episode, I want to track that thing down so bad, it's in my "top to hunt down" strain list, but haven't had much luck finding good info.

My Sage n Sour has kind of a funky sour cream smell to it when cured. It's not very gassy at all, but the smell and taste is unique. I do pick up a bit of the S.A.G.E. in there though.
Thanks bro! I'm a sucker for good genetics, pretty sure I have a seed addiction haha. I love growing how strains with cool (by my standards) heritage and stories.

Yeah bro it was on the ADS podcast...ages ago though, it was back when Mitch was on the Show. I'm pretty sure, the grower was the son of a very famous Hawaiian cannabis grower...he had bred the Kauai Electric strain...and apparently had a hand in the parents of OG Kush. I think it might have been on one of his shows that was the "OGenome Project" where they were trying to track down the history/lineage of OG Kush.

Cool man, thanks for the info. Do you possibly remember how long the flowering time was, 10 weeks like the Sage?

Yeah man I haven't seen that Puna Butter strain available anywhere. Any time I have seen it, it was out of stock.

Some more great strains to watch grow out from Cave Hill Cove. Nice man! I’ll definitely have a real close eye on that Killer Queen.

9-10 weeks typically. Mine tends to grow tall and thin buds instead of squat calyx monsters, but the calyx do swell pretty big usually with 2ish weeks left before harvest. Lots of frost too, it glistens.

Mitch had that show running well. Then I think he went to the emerald cup, had an intense mushroom trip and realized he had a kid and family at home. At least that was the Adam story for it. lol. I do miss him though, thats back when they would have on breeders and really try to track the roots of strains. I love that shit.
I agree with you 100% man. Yup that was the story i heard too, Mitch took a "heroic dose" of shrooms..and he decided he needed to change his life....hey man...wherever the universe points you haha. But yes...the ADS use to be a very different show. Mitch was a really great ying to Adams yang. The shows they did together were great. I love all the strain history and lore. They did a decent one on the cat piss recently that was cool.

Good to know your flowering time. Yeah, my one loots like shes going to be tall. :Stoned:

Cheers TTL! Yeah man the Killer Queen is going to be an interesting grow. The G13 crossed Cindy sounded like an attractive pairing...kind like an old NL5 X Haze deal.

One of these days I will front up the Benjamin's and grab me a pack of straight Cindy 99...one day :Stoned:

These are some of my favorite smokes you’re bringing up! Cindy 99 and NL5 x Haze are top three for me. I was thinking of running Cindy 99 this upcoming run, but Keeno’s sending me some seeds I’m going to use. So, next run will most likely be some Cindy 99. Best of luck on this grow even though you don’t seem to need it! Ha.
