Mammoth P in coco/vermicompost organics
Hi People, growers, smokers, newbies, must respected oldies and all,
I have recently noticed Spartan Grown using this product? I seen a pic on Instagram, so I presume he also uses it as I remember him bigging it up. Listening to a podcast about this product made me wary for a while but the now same podcast they are saying so many people are having good results, I can't ot try, especially being in coco and organics, these specialist microbes will hopefully make a nice addition to my "soil food web" look it up
My Q:
When you see the chart is states you can use a hell of a lot more in standard soil, little less in coco and ecen less in super soil.
As I'm a coco grower and organics, soooo super coco lol, just without any worms (yet )
Any one else use this?
What medium are you in and what doses do you use?
Pre thanks for the heads up.

I used it with soil but I adjusted my soil recipe every run so unsure about how it helps improve yields. Its also pricey.
I didn't use it last run in soil and it was my biggest yielding grow in a while.
Love their baseball caps though

Yeah ive seen its pricey, I've heard quite a few established growers using it with more coco based mixes and having excellent results.ohlordyeah_420 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 8:52 amI used it with soil but I adjusted my soil recipe every run so unsure about how it helps improve yields. £45 is lricey in my opinion, but that 120ml bottle will last me 6 months, if I get less than an ounce, say half or a quarter more, that's paid off already on one grow.
I'm never sure of too much in soil, think its different with super soil? As you're re suing the same soil? So that may make a difference and probably why they state to use less in super soil?
What got me thinking, was my Mrs grows tomatoes, just places them in compost and gives plain water most of the way through the grow. I did get her to start giving some feed later on when the leaves start turning. I now give Mrs my depleted (or what I thought) coco, she grew one plant just water, in that mix I gave her, after I chopped my blue dream. Now, that plant she potted in it, grew so big it snapped and bent over, unfortunately it got black spot as we couldn't do much to graft it.
My point: all those nutritients must have been locked up somehow. Maybe the rain, local fungi and bacteria passed on by birds and bees? Maybe this unlocked the nutes.
If I'm indoors, I don't want to go through all that polava of trying rain water, getting bugs etc.... maybe it could have been the chlorine in tap water, as I dechlorinate mine often?
So, I'm hoping this works.
It has been a well thought out plan, as I am pretty much a budget price grower.
Maybe, when I have the space, I'll do a experiment, same tent, same everything

So anyone can help me on dosing?
Do I just do a .6 or treat as a soil?

Re: Mammoth P in coco/vermicompost organics
i some times use 1.6ml per 10l in coco if that helps. not sure about the results either tho

Re: Mammoth P in coco/vermicompost organics
I suppose you would only notice of you had lock out issues right? So if you use it how do you know you wouldn't have had lockout issues if you didn't?
I seemed to get lockout issues before, buds weren't as big as the potential. Like I previously said, if you'd seen the growth rate of the tomatoes from the depleted coco I gave my my Mrs. Maybe those nutritients were previously locked out for some reason? It's a theory I've been pondering over.
I put this one off for a long time. We shall see.
I want to see a side by side test, but there's only any point doing that for each and every grower, everyone's style is different.

Re: Mammoth P in coco/vermicompost organics
Hey bro, I have heard/seen a lot of people using this in the states it seems really good. This product or another one called "real growers recharge" is suppose to be good. I want to get some, but my problem is I couldn't find anyone to ship to NZ...or the shipping costs would basically double the cost. So instead I just make my own microbe teas now...its much easier and cheaper..personally I feel that I get great results. Also as Elijahgrowz mentioned..I too am looking to simplify my nutrient inputs, save money and make things more sustainable. I grow in coco too...you can absolutely feed microbe teas in coco.

Re: Mammoth P in coco/vermicompost organics
My advice isn't the best, but it's the truth!
As with many other things regarding our hobby, you're better off doing a side by side grow and testing it for yourself. Make sure all variables are the same (same clone, medium, light, etc.)
This is the only true way to know if it's worth it for YOU
But for what it's worth, I used a free sample long time ago with one of my super soil plants. Came out yielding/smelling the same as the other ones

Hey man, I've had exactly the same sort of problem and considered thge recharge, but that seem even more expensive and like you say the cost. Yeah I shared in the post about making tea's it was GMO's post i think. Bit of a faf doing teas constantly though.Cave Hill Cole wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 9:15 pmHey bro, I have heard/seen a lot of people using this in the states it seems really good. I do also use malted barley which can help unlock locked up nutrients as is what the Mammoth P is supposed to do. Teas will add available nutrients. Also constantly adding mollasses isn't the best idea in my opinion. I made that mistake and ended up starting to get rot in tyhe medium, I think I had a fermenting mass of it.
