Biobizz Light Mix vs All Mix

Post by wutang »

Hey guys

So as of now I have my seedlings in jiffy pellets under a couple of t5 tubes in my dome. Both have 2 to 3 nodes. Once the roots start popping out, I'll want to pot them. Would Biobizz allmix be too hot?

I was thinking of putting them straight into 16l pots, but not sure as I've read that smaller pots encourage more growth so its better to transplant later.

Anyone do the same in regards to straight into bigger pots with all mix?

Thanks

yes all mix may burn seedlings. I did an auto in all mix and it was too strong for the first few weeks of its life. Light mix is fine. You could always get all mix and a bag of straight coco and mix it 50/50 for the seedlings and then pot up to straight all mix when established.

And in soil unless you're using a supersoil mix I would defo reccomend potting up at least twice. Reasoning: that soil is battery that feeds your plants. When the battery starts to drain you want to add a 'new battery' so potting up is pretty important in soil.
My 2 cents

"I fucking hate harvesting. I like planting the things and watering them, and looking after them, talking to them. I don't like fucking harvesting."

"You like smoking them, though."

"Oh, I like smoking them."

Never used coco, its probably cheaper than getting a bag of light mix..ill check out the store and see what they have. Thank you
