To scrog or not to scrog

I have tried a scrog a few times and not achieved a text book one on any LOL.

That was first try

as you can see one grower can do things in many ways LOL.

I like LST. I use the green softee wire and embroidery pins to tie down.



Once you topped you wont stop i found as well LOL

Where did you get those ties? I came on here looking for advice on how I can do it with fabric pots..and you've literally answered my question haha

The other thing is I could use a scrog net so achieve similar? As I'll just be moving branches in each of the holes of the net.. or maybe they have to be tied down as she will probably push through the net as it ain't that strong compared to proper ties like you have for holding branches down?

These are the things I use for lst.

When I tried the elastic nets and they didn't help keep the branches where they needed to be so I make mt nets out of the wire I use for lst

you really need the metal grid frames.

the elastic nets just push up and are not very effective for doing a "proper" scrog, they are more just for supporting the plant
