Subbed, like the look of scrogs but don't like the plant count so interested to see what the difference is between lots of small plants or one larger one trained down.
SCROGs are for keeping your plant count low. SOG is a bunch of smaller plants growing straight up instead of being trained out. You can scrog one plant into a monster if you have the time.

I'm kind of unlimited (15' x 20') with the space so it more has to do with the light. So I suppose that I have about 4 feet by 8 feet area that the light can cover. I might end up adding another MH/HPS light to get more width. Mmmmm yeah... as far as number of plants. More clones survived than expected. 16 plants. I have a very hard time killing plants so I will put the best looking plants in the optimum light areas and move the lesser ones to the edges that don't get as much light.

The other day when I was high I solved one of the world's greatest problems.
Unfortunately five minutes later I forgot what I was doing.

If that's the case then I'm probably going to be a little of both. A bunch of smaller trained plants.

Ah OK, my bad, I thought SCROGs and SOG were the same thing. I guess my Water Melons are similar to a SCROG then?

What does SCROG stand for? I know SOG means "sea of green" but what is SCROG?

15’x20’ is some nice space TommyT! Nothing wrong with your clones Going too well. Ha. You have plenty of space though and sounds like you’ll just add more light as they spread out. Should end up with a really nice sized harvest. I can’t wait to watch them all fill out. Best of luck on the grow!
