Advice Needed

How do I know when my grow is ready? It’s our first attempt at growing and don’t want to lop them too soon or too late. What signs do you look for?

You should get some kind of magnifier jewelers loupe, scope, may be able to do with some phones. Should be at least X60 but higher is better. Look at the trichomes to tell you when ready. Clear is not fully matured and more racy, milky is matured, and amber is somewhat past peak but delivers a more couch lock kinda high, All about preference, I go for a mix of milky and amber. This all said some strains don't amber and the color you take them at won't superseded the plants genetics. Like you can't make a sativa give an indica high or vice versa it's more like fine tuning I'd suggest going all milky till you develop a feel for it.

I read something about the amber trichs yesterday actually! You’ve just reminded me about it! But yes seems like I need to invest in a loupe! I’ll order one tomorrow

I had the feeling that she wasn’t quite there yet! Just getting impatient now. We made so many mistakes on this grow it’s amazing there’s still a plant standing

@waxjess420 It may cost a lil more but good equipment is worth it in long run go for X 100 or X120 if you can find happy growing.
