Is yours not like that @Mr Nice ?mine have had leaves like that from day one, but my GG in the same tent is fine, thought maybe a genetic thing?
I was lost a min there............ The leaf serrate na not yet thought the leaf saw thing was too much light
thats why asked BB
I think im just going into early days of flower on my melon so the light is not on half power at mo so know chance of leaf serrate yet

I thought leaf serrate is to do with too much light im sure GMO said that too me many moons ago

It can be a sign of light and heat stress.

Well mine has been like it since the day it popped and the GG absolutely fine, the ONLY difference between my Watermelon and GG is that the watermelon has DYNOMYCO in the soil and the GG hasn't. Honestly thought it was a genetic thing as I've never had serrated leaves like this before??

I'm not worried about it she's growing fine looking healthy

Not pushing my diary, but if you look back from the beginning you'll see what I mean viewtopic.php?t=6510
Yh ive got some DYNOMYCO in the soil too mind you BB said heat stress can do it aswell
The time i get serrated leaves is when i give them too much light that they cant handle it

I have another plant going fastbuds mexican airline like a practice plant for me that got serrated leaves from the light being too close so i now know how much light they can tolerate in my setup.

Also guess all plants are a bit dif on what they like and want

Ill go chk ya diary bro and have alook at what ya talking about..

Also love me melon grow well happy with hows shes looking......................

Might give you a run for your money now ................LOL

Mr Nice Peace out to all.........

What does @GMO know about too much light... Dudes so tight I bet he doesn't even turns his lights on. Just carries his plants outside everyday and stages them up in the loft for show ;o)

Yeah light type is real important for this sign

Canoeing the HID is alot more tolerable than LED when the serrates raise

Both can be helped by adding co2 so it's easy to see how it can be misunderstood

Dude, @Minty I'm also efficient with my own energy. You know the cost of the sandwiches to make up the energy with all that ball ache!

If that was a 'squabble' it was lost on me, just a bit of jest ;o)

Cookie Update

Team Red - Coco - is still 'Outta Control' - but looking the best outta the bunch - but to be fair she is hogging the light

Image

Team Blue - Hydro (and the original Hydro) are not doing so well after being moved down (by default) after the Coco stretch-

Image

Perhaps I should prop them up a little? Job for tomorrow....
