i get like 999 out of a thousand with sandwich bag method, aero is about 12-15 out of 20 in the 20 site cloner for me.
the trick with jiffy is to squeeze the top around the clone stem to draw out the extra water. just nicely damn. dont squeeze rockwool cubes tho
Do you dip them in rooting gel? I was thinking wouldn't the sprayers just wash it off?seymore_budz wrote:Not much to say about them really as they're pretty straight forward pieces of kit. Keep em clean, make sure the water stays below 26C, don't overcomplicate things and don't keep checking for roots hundreds of times over the week or so they take to root.
I've had mixed success with mine. First run went great, second run I had a problem with slime building up. I'm going to run mine on a segmental timer on the next go as I used to do that years ago and I'd have established roots in 5-7 days but I've been following the manufacturers recommendations these recent runs and they seem to take a few extra days to strike and around 10 days to build an established rootball.
Hope this helps.

I still dip them as they will take on the IBA before it's washed off and then it remains in the water. In theory you don't need rooting hormone as cannabis has quite a lot in the stem naturally but I always do because every little helps as they say :)Nastyhabitz_ wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 12:18 pmDo you dip them in rooting gel?
