Forum Vote - Number of posts per page

@Keeno Has the idea of quote without image button been discussed ? Or limiting the size of avatars and signatures? I've definitely seen forums use a max size for avatar and signatures to reduce bandwidth usage.

@sageridder it has in the past. Avatars are restricted, signatures not atm.

Ill see if we can do away with images all together and look at signature settings.

Wouldn't you be able too just add a reply button that just pulls the persons name instead of all off the images your replying too just a though and plus im trying to get my post count up

@Joshuaarr420 We have that (just recently) But there likely are times you might wanna quote the part said especially in a multi quote so you could respond to several comments.

I think @Keeno on Tapatalk which is what I use mostly the @ function is not notifying the tagged person as it does not go blue and does not link to profile. Please correct me on this. Also I do use the forum on chrome for videos and some images too.

Tapatalk is the devil .

Unfortunately 90% of the forum features don't work on Tapatalk as its a 3rd party app. This is why i always recommend members use the forum to store content such as images with the fofum itself. If Tapatalk goes down one day there's nothing we can do about it. We have no control over it.

So I can always open in chrome and take it from there, that is how I see the videos anyways. I'll learn more as I use the Chrome more frequently. Thanks for always replying to me.

No worries mate. If you got tapa you will gdt notifications of firum activity through tapa. In your user control panel (click nsme top rightvif forum) you can customise notifications for emails as well as a load of other bits.

I don’t think load time will cut in half, just by cutting the post limit in half right? You still have the adds and everything else that needs to be loaded

I’d rather wait 5 secs for one page and see 20 posts, than I would wait 3 secs each time to just see 10 posts lol that being said it won’t make a huge dif to me

Although I’d go through more data! Witch was my main reason for keeping it as is. If you normally only look at the first couple posts anyways then I guess it would save you data :s
