Welcome to the forum, how are things in the land of the long white cloud? I loved my time over there and had some good weed...plus I love my kiwi dub....

Welcome to the forum! What type of “Old School” strains we talking?
Good question, "Old School" is pretty open. So first off, I'm down here in NZ, so the possibility of getting clones is pretty minimal. As a result I have to grow from seed. So I have a bit of seed library and addiction going on. Strains I've grown...off the top of my very well taken care of stone head:

S.A.G.E;
North Lights by Jordan of the Island (JOTI);
Roof 95;
Blueberry;
AK47;
Moontang by Bodhi (chem 91 Skunk Va X Snow Lotus);
MK Ultra;
Angelia by Bodhi (Hells Angel OG X G13 Hash Plant);
Killer Queen;
Blue God by JOTI;
Jack Herrer;
Quantum Kush by Home Grown Natural Wonders;
Black Triangle by Bodhi (Triangle OG X G13 Hash Plant) - This is 2 weeks into flower
ILGM Sour Diesel;
ILGM Blue Dream;
Amenisa Haze Auto;
Critical Auto;
White Russian Auto;
Nevilles Haze X Critical Auto;
White Widow by both the Green House and Dinafem;
Bubblegum X Black Domina;
Black Domina by Sensi...by far the biggest let down

On the horizon I have some Headband X C99, S.A.G.E n Sour and killer queen in veg. Next beans in my library is likely Apollo 11 and Hollyweed by Bodhi (LA Pure Kush X G13 hash Plant).

So yeahs that's the menu of my tastes so far. :Stoned:
Nice selection there! My type of strains for sure. Headband x C99 and Apollo 11 are great, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by those two. I look forward to seeing some pictures or diaries of these awesome strains you do. Best of luck with your grows!

Cheers mate! Things were doing a lot better than the rest of the world, we were about 100 days without any viruses cases...life had pretty much gone completely back to normal. But just this week we had newly reported cases...so my city is back on a lockdown and mask in public order. It's all good...gives me plenty of time to get blazed, do yoga and tuttuh with the garden.

Glad to here you like the kiwi dub cuz! I too am a fan. As soon as this whole virus thing blows over you will have to head back down here. We have are suppose to have a referendum on legislation o next month....if its successful we definitely be "the land of the long white cloud" :dance:

Cheers bro! Nice to see there are kindred spirits on here. Any tips for the Headband X C99? At the moment she's a 3 week old seedling. I hear she likes high levels of NPK. How long did she take in flower before harvest? I think she is supposed to be about a 63-65 days?

Cheers mate! haha I can't say that I haven't made my share of F-ups in the process. From light leaks, over feeding, under feeding, heat stress etc etc. But hey, honestly thats how you learn. Picking seeds out of flower for months on end will give you the incentive to not make the same mistake again.

Hey mate I had a question for ya. On the "growing with my fellow UK growers" . you mentioned that your trained your Exo Cheese "Like a thick mat" . What did you mean by that exactly? Random question I know. The reason i ask, is because i have an Angelica by Bodhi in flower. And shes a little out of control (shes been topped twice). I have shaved her legs, and she's got very much a 20cm wide mat appearance. There's not much I can do, but thin her out and keep the airflow.

What tips did you have for training your out of control Exo Cheese. BTW I'm keen as a bean to grow the cheese.

Unfortunately I’ve only smoked them so far. I’m thinking about running C99 and Headband x C99 to find a keeper of one next year. Definitely doing C99 and I really like the Headband x C99 as a smoke, so may throw that in for comparisons sake. Hopefully I’ll see your grows first and get to pick up some tips and get the flower time down. Ha.
