i got yours fired up last night, i just stuck a skotch block connector on it. (im a cheapskate).
it fried my retina too (still didnt wear the shades , never learn)

whats the crack with the ballasts/ drivers though? id rather have mine outside the room. Any reason why i cant stick a 3 metre cable on it to get the ballasts outside the room? any idea what guage cable i would need.
im going to the place they fix screws to pick up some plumbing supplies for the new rdwc build, so could get some there.

cheers

I’ve always wanted to remove the driver from my light too. Maybe I’ll find out if I can from this thread. Ha.

Your only need 1.5mm two core flex for that light BBBB and the wagos make it easier. I noticed they use solid core on their diy kits.

Solid cores shit. use stranded and solder. Solid tends to rip the conectors off the boards ( or just splice in after the conectors would be a better option )

well cheers for the heads up. 1.5 it is...cheers K Bag

i went into fixing screws and they wouldnt serve me, thier computer says NO,.... bloody hell, they dont call me lucky BIll for nothing, wasted at least a couple of hunderd millilitres of deisel going in there....twattts

managed to pick up my plastic pipe and most of the fittings for new system, so thats a bonus, i clicked and collected, but the tees are not in yet either :ak: :ak:

i preffer the stranded stuff too, just from years of working with it on motorbikes etc. less likely to break too.

wagos? .............................dont they cost money?

I think I’m just going to leave my driver on, because I have no clue what you guys are talking about and that’s probably not a good thing when dealing with electrical stuff. Ha
