Our Banana Sherbet bit the dust today. She shriveled and died after a stunted growth pattern and weird leaf patterns....

The bananas are starting to spit out normal growth now but I've been told to bin them and start again.
My auto mentor says the slow growth and ruderalis genes are not a good sign .
Not sure if I should trust him
